ROSELLE– Senator Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park) will host his annual Fall Senior Fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, October 29 at the Roselle Clauss Recreation Center.

State and local programs will be on hand to give out information and answer questions.

The event is open to the public and the press.

Some services available:

Representatives from the Illinois State Treasurer’s I-Cash Program will be on hand to connect residents with unclaimed assets.

Receive information on RTA Free Ride and Reduced Fare Cards as well as other programs from the RTA.

Flu shots will be provided by Walgreens (participants should bring their insurance card).

The Veterans Assistance Commission will be available to explain valuable resources for Illinois veterans.

GLENDALE HEIGHTS– Senator Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park) and Representative Deb Conroy (D-Villa Park) will host a Women’s Resource Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at the Glendale Heights Sports Hub Field House.

State and local programs will be on hand to give out information and answer questions.

Lake Health Center will provide blood pressure and glucose screenings.

Representatives from the Illinois State Treasurer’s I-Cash Program will be on hand to connect residents with unclaimed assets.

Secretary of State’s Mobile DMV will be available to renew, replace or correct driver’s licenses and state ID cards as well as sell vehicle stickers.

CAROL STREAM- State Senator Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park) is hosting experts from the Citizens Utility Board to conduct a free clinic where local consumers can learn ways to reduce their gas, electric and landline telephone bills.

The event will feature free one-on-one analysis from CUB experts on gas, electric and landline phone bills, information on spotting billing errors and incentives designed to help people improve energy efficiency.

VILLA PARK – State Senator Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park), local chambers of commerce and the Illinois Department of Employment Security will host a job fair from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30 at the Odeum in Villa Park.

Area businesses will be looking for qualified candidates, accepting resumes and giving on-the-spot interviews.

“The key to growing our economy is putting people back to work,” said Cullerton. “I encourage area residents to take advantage of this resource.”

Veterans seeking jobs will be admitted at 10 a.m. before the event begins for the general public.

The event is open to the press.
